We will joint venture with those who have a serious proposal to consider or, alternatively, we will finance a project. We will, under certain circumstances, agree to put in our own management or completely take over the business in order to capitalise on the years of experience in the hotel and leisure industry. We will consider city centres hotels or provincial hotels from 3 to 5 star rating. Possible arrangements include buying, leasing, management and joint venture. Some 126 hotels around the world currently benefit from our involvement, in which we hold shares ranging from 3% to 48%.We tend to seek those which have clear potential based on property location and where, in our opinion, future value can be significantly enhanced. Leisure Attached to each hotel we endeavour to place a leisure centre, no matter how small or big, the primary purpose being to provide an attraction for each age group, the whole family. Some 18 parks are currently within our interests. |
